Surfing requires paddling out for every wave, but hydrofoiling allows you to catch several waves in a row while staying up on your board, floating above the water!

Prone foiling (standing on a short board) can often allow for catching the most waves in the shortest amount of time, even more than SUP foiling (on a longer hydrofoil board with a paddle).
